Furnished Holiday Lets or FHL's are legally qualified as a trading business. As such, you are not entitled to use council waste or recycling collections for your property. As a licensed upper tier waste contractor, we are able to collect your guest's rubbish and recycling on changeover day, meaning that you no longer need to worry about orchestrating multiple contractors.
Falmouth Cleaning & Property Management Ltd - Upper Tier Waste Carrier & Dealer License, certified by the
Environment Agency (License Number - CBDU452646).
Whilst not the most exciting of subjects, it's a topic that most owners overlook. The waste and recycling that your holiday let generates, must be disposed of legally - or you risk a hefty fine! This used to mean employing a third party contractor specifically to collect the rubbish on changeover day. But what if they miss the collection?
As licensed upper tier waste carriers, we have brought this service in-house to offer our owners a reliable and cost efficient service, whilst being as environmentally friendly as possible.
Our zero to landfill policy means that all of our waste is taken to the recycling centre where is is sorted, and recycled. Any non-recyclable waste goes to our local power station to generate electricity for thousands of homes, and the ash waste from that is a by-product that is used in the manufacture of roads!
